Our heart project
Behind every company lies a story. Ours has been anything but ordinary. We've stumbled and fallen more than once, especially in the early days. What has bonded us as a team and kept us rising again and again has been the desire to perfect our skills and establish ourselves as experts in our field. Even as a mature and solid company, we continue to develop ourselves and learn something new with every new challenge. And there's still so much to learn!

In memory of our late grandfather, we set out to create a unique gin at Erich's Distillery. As children and grandchildren, we learned our grandfather's craft of distilling schnapps and do our best to incorporate this quality and knowledge into our ErichGIN. We use only the highest quality botanicals and 100% Swabian spring water.
The production
Our ErichGIN is 100% handmade! – In Erich's old distillery in the beautiful Berglen region, ErichGin is distilled according to our recipe with 13 botanicals.
The distillery, built in 1997 by Ulrich Kothe of Eisslingen, uses a large copper kettle to ensure gentle and consistently high quality throughout the entire distillation process. The still is still heated by fire – 100% craftsmanship!
From the selection of our botanicals with lemons from sustainable cultivation in Spain, to maceration and distillation, hand-bottling, manual labeling of the bottles including hand-numbering, and the application and sealing of the cork, everything is entirely handmade. Our labels and packaging are made from 100% recyclable grass paper, which promotes sustainability.
ErichGIN is 100 percent handcrafted in beautiful Swabia. This guarantees us complete control and the highest quality in our gin. And you can taste it.

The Botanicals
Almost all of our botanicals are sustainably grown on our own farm. Even our lemons come from my parents' Spanish garden, giving our gin a particularly fresh aroma. The remaining botanicals come from the Swabian gardens in Steinach and Reichenbach. Everything else is purchased from strictly certified producers and meticulously tested before each maceration.
We are a family business
Together as a family, we launched the ErichGIN project. We've been obsessed with gin for years, and our goal was to distill an incomparable gin in Grandpa Erich's old distillery.
We have already visited the GIN world on almost every continent and, based on this, have created the perfect recipe for our ErichGIN after a few sleepless nights, wasted botanicals and alcohol.
We are passionate about this and will do everything we can to make Grandpa proud with this GIN!
